Musicport 2024
Musicport set sail once again this month, 24 years since its maiden voyage. We’ve been on board for 23 of those years, providing sound, lighting, rigging and crew for when music from all over the world comes to Whitby.
This year we put in an L-Acoustics A15, X8 and KS28 PA system with some of our FOS Vintage 7s to compliment the existing lighting rig.
Hull Fair 2024
We were back on Walton Street this month installing the networking and AV infrastructure for the CCTV, WiFi and VOIP for Hull Fair 2024.
It was great to be involved again this year, helping everyone behind the scenes to keep in touch with each other and monitor the record crowds to keep everyone safe.
Top 30 Under 30
Top 30 Under 30 was back again this month, shining a spotlight on some of the region’s young professionals.
We provided sound, lighting, stage and AV for the Hull & Humber event at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Hull and the Leeds & West Yorkshire awards ceremony at Leeds Armories.
The sound and lighting systems included our L-Acoustics KARA II and KS28s and Robe Paintes, perfect for the awards ceremony itself and the post award entertainment.
William’s Den Trick or Treat Street 2024
We provided a comprehensive sound, lighting and crewing package for this year’s Halloween experience at William’s Den.
This meant ambient lighting and sound for each of the eight houses on Trick or Treat Street, as well as up-lighters, festoon and lamp post lighting across the site.
A wide range of our speakers, amps and lighting fixtures were in use across the site, including our Prolights SmartBat+s, SGM Q8s, and L-Acoustics A10s, X12s and X8s.
The Move
We are moving!
We officially completed this month on new premises just over the river in east Hull. We’ll be fitting out the new warehouse and offices and moving over the next couple of months.
