Colliderfest

Colliderfest is a new science and arts festival in Hull city centre that is part of the national celebration of British Science Week.
As part of Colliderfest After Dark HPSS produced and designed a number of pieces and installations across 4 sites, at Queen Victoria Square, Beverley Gate, Hull Minster and Whitefriargate. Working to Hull City Council’s brief, we provided crew, equipment, content and project management services to take the event from a simple concept into a weekend of live visual and auditory experiences.
This meant putting in a range of equipment including our Ayrton Perseo Profile Ss, Green Hippo Boreal+, two Panasonic 50K 4K Projectors, plenty of L-Acoustics A15s and KS21s, and a total of 38 mirror balls!
Connexin Live - The Darkness
We were back at Connexin Live again this month, providing PA, crew and control for The Darkness.
We put in 24 of our L-Acoustics K2 and 15 KS28s, along with a L-Acoustics P1 and DiGiCo SD12-96.
Selby Light - Ancient Futures
We provided projection, audio and lighting at Selby Abbey for Ancient Futures, a light instillation created by renowned artists Heinrich & Palmer.
The piece illuminated the entire interior of the Abbey, using 3D scans, film footage, and historic images to bring the past and future together.
We provided a range of equipment including a Panasonic 30K 4K Projector, SGM Q8s and L-Acoustics KS21s
Scarborough Punk Festival 2025
We were back at Scarborough Spa for Scarborough Punk Festival 2025. We provided crew and equipment for the weekend, inlcuding some of our L-Acoustics A10s and KS21s
The Bootleg Beatles - Spring 2025
The Bootleg Beatles were out again this month on their Spring 2025 tour. They took a control package that included a pair of DiGiCo Quantum 225s with them on the French leg of the tour, and have now added a PA system including some of our L-Acoustics KARA II, KS28s, x12s, x8s for their UK shows.
Hull City Hall
We’ve been in and out of Hull City Hall this month, putting some of our L-Acoustics A15 and KS21s in for acts and speakers including Paul Chowdry, Jon Culshaw and Kevin Sinfield.
